Plastic pipe sprinkler systems utilize a special UL listed PVC plastic pipe system called Blazemaster instead of conventional iron pipe and fittings.  Plastic pipe sprinkler systems are becoming more common in use for protecting light hazards occupancies such as single and multi-family residences, hotels, and apartments, as well as light-hazard office buildings.
